The weight loss effects attributed to Mounjaro are believed to be due to improved insulin sensitivity, reduced energy intake through appetite suppression, and a delay in gastric emptying. What are the most common side effects associated with Mounjaro? Some of the more common side effects people report while using Mounjaro include nausea, constipation, dizziness, decreased appetite, and diarrhea. Is Mounjaro safe? Mounjaro is generally considered safe in doses of up to 15 mg weekly for adults. But there is a percentage of the population who should not take Mounjaro such as those with a history of medullary thyroid cancer, pancreatitis, and prior hypersensitivity reactions to Wegovy.
