Most coconut oil is not in fact vegan as the majority of the supply comes from Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia where they trap and exploit monkeys to pick the coconuts. It really is not a cute industry. Our supplier of coconut oil gives back 100% of the profits they make back to local villages in the Pacific Islands.
