Some of the commercial jar openers are stiff and difficult for some hands to grasp. So…I, Graggie, a person who has had jar opening difficulty following a fall, made these for myself. My husband who has arthritis in his hands uses the pads as well. The pads have been tried and tested. They provide a soft grip that assists the user to grasp and remove jar lids and/or twist bottle caps. They are also handy for placing between plates and bowls, or to protect surfaces.
